About
Kalahari

Our Kalahari hunting area is located near Vorstershoop in the North West Province of South Africa, across the Molopo Game Reserve. The nearest town is Vryburg which is 221km (137 miles) away. The Lodge is situated on a 5000-acre hunting area, about 20km from the Botswana border.

The secludedness of the Kalahari is what makes this hidden gem so special. The Kalahari is home to more than 350 bird species, vast numbers of camel-thorn trees and a variety of game animals, big and small. Our main use for this hunting area is to pursue the African Lion with our non-American clients whose home countries still permit the import of Lions from the Republic of South Africa.

Known for the most spectacular starlit skies and distant Jackal cries, one night in the Kalahari, next to a crackling fire, will forever leave your heart longing back.

The thatched lodge consists of 6 private rooms and 2 luxury rooms, all with air-conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. Spacious open plan lodge and cosy living area with a bar. A sparkling blue swimming pool and green grass. There are 18 hunting species that graze freely. A malaria-free area of North West and home to 4 of the Big 5 – Lion, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo.
